Salad Survivors

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

This policy applies to Salad Survivors, developed by André Luiz Nogueira.

At a glance

You can play without creating an account. Progress stays on your device or in your browser. If you choose to submit a score, it is added to the public leaderboard. Technical reports are sent when you activate that feature. This version of the game does not display ads.

Local progress and settings

The game stores audio, video, language and control preferences, progress, unlocks, achievements, full-edition access information, your leaderboard name and scores awaiting submission. It may also save the most recently captured technical report.

In versions that provide a player code, a random identifier is created to associate scores with the installation and allow deletion requests. It is not an advertising identifier and does not require a real name or email address.

Clearing app or site data removes local storage and may erase progress and the player code. On Android, your Google account's automatic backup may restore progress and the player code when you reinstall the game with the same account. Uninstalling does not delete records already submitted to the leaderboard.

Online leaderboard and public information

Score submission is optional and uses Supabase infrastructure. Submitted information includes your chosen name or nickname, score, mode, difficulty, wave, duration, result, character, strains used and game version. The server records the creation date. In supported versions, the player code is also sent to allow you to delete your scores.

Your nickname and run details are public on the leaderboard. The player code is not displayed on the leaderboard. Use a nickname and do not enter personal information in that field. Nicknames with profanity or that look like contact details (phone number, e-mail, web address) are refused by the game and by the server.

The daily challenge has its own leaderboard with the same information. The challenge's date and seed come from the server.

If you request submission while offline, the score may be held in a local queue of up to 20 records and automatically sent again when the game can connect.

To limit abuse, the server keeps a cryptographic summary (hash) of the sender's IP address and player code for up to one day; the IP address cannot be recovered from it.

Diagnostic reports

When you select “Capture and send report”, the game saves a local copy, attempts to copy the text to the clipboard and, when the service is available, sends the report to Supabase to help investigate technical issues.

The report contains the version, platform, date and time, performance, rendering information, audio and app lifecycle state, screen, mode, difficulty, result and run duration. It is not a microphone recording, screenshot or message history.

These reports are not sent automatically on an ongoing basis and are not queued for resubmission. Submitted reports are intended for the game’s technical administration and are not published on the leaderboard.

Purchases and third-party services

In the Android edition distributed through Google Play, the purchase of the full edition is processed by the store. The game uses purchase status to unlock content. We do not receive card details.

Everything sent over the internet (leaderboard, reports and purchase) is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Supabase hosts online records. When you access services over the internet, connection information, such as your IP address, may be processed by the infrastructure to deliver and protect the service. Processing may take place outside your country.

Learn more about the providers in the Supabase Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy. For requests about game records hosted on Supabase, contact the developer at the email address below.

Player age

In the edition distributed through Google Play, the game asks the store for the age range it knows (Play Age Signals API), as Brazil's ECA Digital (Law 15.211/2025) requires. The answer is used only on the device, for one decision: whether the leaderboard may show the typed nickname. It is not stored or sent to us.

If the store reports that the player is under 18, or does not report an age, the game stays complete and the score goes on the leaderboard as "Player", without a nickname. The PC and browser versions have no store to ask.

Nickname reports

Every leaderboard row has a "Report" button. A report records which row was flagged, a copy of the nickname and a cryptographic summary (hash) of the reporter's IP address, used only to limit abuse. The developer reviews each report and removes whatever breaks the rules. You can also report by e-mail at the address below.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you or the system remove it. Records sent to the server are not erased when you uninstall the game. No automatic deletion period has been set for these records.

In versions that offer this feature, go to Settings → Privacy to view your player code and request deletion of your scores. This operation requires a connection and service availability. Keep your code before clearing data or uninstalling.

You can also request access, correction or deletion by email using the address below. For older scores or scores without a code, provide the nickname, approximate date and run details. For diagnostics, provide the date, platform and version. Because the game does not require an account, we may need to confirm information to locate records and avoid deleting someone else’s data.

Your choices

You can play without submitting scores or reports. We do not sell your data. Online records are processed to provide the leaderboard you requested, diagnose issues and respond to support requests. Avoid including personal information in your nickname or support messages that is not needed to address your request.

Children and parents

Salad Survivors is rated for all ages (Brazilian rating "L", shown on the title screen). It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. It has no ads, no chat between players and no paid loot boxes.

For parents and guardians:

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has entered personal information as a leaderboard nickname, use the "Report" button or write to the email address below so it can be removed.
